Dr. Abazi joined Four Seasons Eye Care in 2018 and practices optometry at Lifestyle Optics in Buffalo, the Eye Care Center in St. Michael, and Four Seasons Eye Care Minnetonka and Plymouth providing primary eye care and ocular disease management.
Dr. Abazi graduated from Oak Creek High School in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her undergraduate studies earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) College of Optometry, graduating with high honors. While in optometry school she was a teaching assistant and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, serving as secretary.
Dr. Abazi completed externships focused on surgical co-management, pediatrics and binocular vision and specialty contact lenses at UMSL’s University Eye Center. She also completed externships focusing on ocular disease at Affinia Healthcare in St. Louis, MO and at the Kansas City VA Medical Center.
After receiving her optometry doctorate, Dr. Abazi completed a residency at the Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, IL where she received advanced training in primary eye care, ocular disease management and low vision services. She also supervised optometry students during their externships, presented several posters and lectured to both students and colleagues.
Dr. Abazi is a member of the American Optometric Association and American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Abazi and her fiancé, Charles, live in Minneapolis. She’s an avid reader, enjoys watching sporting events, spending time with family and trying all her fiancé’s new recipes!
