Dr. Lauren Soukup joined Four Seasons Eye Care in 2019 and practices optometry by providing primary care with a focus on contact lenses, ocular disease and surgical co-management.
Dr. Soukup obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of St. Thomas. During this time, she researched Age-Related Macular Degeneration mechanisms at the University of Minnesota. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.
Dr. Soukup completed externships focused on primary care and ocular disease at Boston Medical Center (Massachusetts), Wenzhou Medical Eye Hospital (China), VA Newington (Connecticut), and Naval Station Pearl Harbor (Hawaii).
Dr. Soukup is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry as well as a member of both the American and Minnesota Optometric Association (MOA). In association with the MOA, she is a co-chair of the Networking Optometric Women group. She is also a member of the Minnesota Chapter of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity.
Dr. Soukup lives in Minneapolis where she has a passion for cycling, exploring different food around the city and traveling around the world.
